HRM - step 2 - Permissions and enabling module (payroll service provider PSP))
The Celery HRM module can be used in existing payroll administrations in Celery, both by End Users and by clients from Payroll Service Providers (PSP).
A PSP is an administration and/or accounting firm that uses Celery to process payroll administrations for their clients. These clients of a PSP can now also use the Celery HR module themselves. In that case, the payroll administration is processed by a PSP, but their payroll clients can use all HRM functions and HRM tools themselves.
PSP clients
PSP clients that want to make use of the Celery HRM module, directly linked to their payroll, must ask their PSP to activate the HRM module in their payroll.
The PSP will also have to inform her fees applicable for the HR module to her client. The HRM module will be charged by the Celery to the PSP, not to the client of the PSP.
Before the HRM module can be activated, the PSP must first create a Company User who can perform HR tasks. This can be done by creating a new Company User in Employer/Details/Edit/Grant Access. An existing Company user can also be granted HRM rights, see print screen below.
After that, the PSP must activate the HRM module in Employer/Integrations/Human Resource Management (HRM), and inform her client that the HR module can be used.
HR features under Employer
In the Company User Account, an Employer tab will appear, see below.
Under this Employer tab, employers can upload HR documents, create holidays and add them to the Calendar and Time-Off Policies, as well as create Time-Off Policies themselves for vacation and sick leave days.
To make it easy for you, an activated HRM module already includes two time-off policies, namely a Vacation and a Sickness Policy. You can also create other time-off policies, such as a time-back or an Special Leave policy.
The Vacation Policy that is standard included in Celery is applicable to employees and is based on 15 vacation days per year (120 hours per year), which amounts to an addition of 10 hours per month. If a different number of vacation days is applicable in your company, you should adjust the 10 hours per month to your own situation.
The Sickness Policy which is also standard in Celery in addition to the above-mentioned policy, is applicable to employees that receive 80% of their salary during disability to work. This policy is therefore applicable to all SVB ZV insured employees.
Activate HRM-module
After that, the PSP must activate the HRM module in Employer/Integrations/Human Resource Management (HRM), and inform her client that the HRM module can be used.
It is advisable to switch off all possible settings during the setup of your HRM module, see below. In that case, employees will not notice any difference yet in their employee accounts.
Later, after you have completed the setup, you can notify all employees and enable the above settings.
You can also inform your employees of the changes to their employee account by sending them the following link to our FAQ/Support website:
HR features under Employees
In addition to the Payroll button, employees are now also assigned a HR button, see below.
Under the HR button, you can save employee information, such as pay slips, employment contracts, copy IDs and driving licenses, in addition to employee information such as Career overview, Job Details, Compensation Agreements, Emergency Contacts, Educations followed and Provided Business Assets.
