Account Recovery: Locked Accounts, 2FA Issues, and Session Problems
This article covers what to do when you cannot access your Celery account due to a locked account, a two-factor authentication (2FA) issue, or a session problem.
Account is locked
If your account is locked, go to the Celery login page and click "Forgot your password?" to reset your credentials, as repeated failed login attempts often trigger the lock. If the account remains locked after a reset, contact your employer or account administrator so they can review your account status.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) code not working
If your 2FA code is not working, check that the time on your device is correctly synced, since authenticator apps rely on accurate time. Request a new code and try again. If the issue continues, contact your employer or account administrator so they can reset your 2FA settings.
Session expired
If your session has expired, log in again with your email and password at the Celery login page. If you continue to see a session expired message immediately after logging in, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser. Contact your employer or account administrator if the issue persists.
No longer have access to the email linked to your account
If you no longer have access to the email address linked to your Celery account, you cannot complete a self-service password reset. Contact your employer or account administrator so they can update your email address or resend an invitation to a new address.
Invitation link expired
Invitation links are valid for 24 hours. If your invitation link has expired, contact your employer or account administrator so they can resend a new invitation.
