I see a white screen when I open the Celery app
A white screen usually means the app got stuck or has some old data causing a problem. Don't worry — it's easy to fix!
Note: You may see this after an app update, after your phone restarts, or if the app hasn't been used in a while. It just means the app needs a fresh start.
Try these steps:
Android:
- Open Settings on your phone
- Tap Apps (sometimes called App Manager)
- Find Celery in the list and tap on it
- Tap Storage
- Tap Force stop — this removes temporary files the app saved
- Tap Uninstall — this resets the app completely (don't worry, your Celery account and payslips are safe in the cloud)
- Restart your phone (optional)
- Open the Celery app again and log in
iOS:
- Open Settings
- Tap General
- Tap iPhone Storage
- Select the app
- Tap Offload App
- Tap Reinstall App
This removes the app itself but keeps its documents and settings.
