I see a white screen when I open the Celery app

A white screen usually means the app got stuck or has some old data causing a problem. Don't worry — it's easy to fix!

Note: You may see this after an app update, after your phone restarts, or if the app hasn't been used in a while. It just means the app needs a fresh start.

Try these steps:
Android:

  1. Open Settings on your phone
  2. Tap Apps (sometimes called App Manager)
  3. Find Celery in the list and tap on it
  4. Tap Storage
  5. Tap Force stop — this removes temporary files the app saved
  6. Tap Uninstall — this resets the app completely (don't worry, your Celery account and payslips are safe in the cloud)
  7. Restart your phone (optional)
  8. Open the Celery app again and log in

iOS:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap iPhone Storage
  4. Select the app
  5. Tap Offload App
  6. Tap Reinstall App

This removes the app itself but keeps its documents and settings.
