What social premiums are applicable in Suriname?
AOV insurance
All persons residing in Suriname or that have been insured for 10 years, are insured for the AOV and are entitled to a AOV-pension from the age of 60. On employees from abroad an exemption for this premium might be applicable.
From these premium the AOV-pensions to pensioners are being paid.
