Can you add a manager who is not in the payroll?

Yes, you can!

Here's how:

1. Add the manager as an employee in Celery, but set their status to inactive in Employment details.
   
   
2. An inactive employee is not included in payroll runs, so you won't pay them through the system.
3. You can now select this person in the Manager field for your employees.

Want the manager to log in to Celery?

Use the same email address for this inactive employee as the one they already use to log in. They can then log in once and switch between different payrolls based on their access rights.

One thing to keep in mind: You will be charged for this inactive employee.
